
Polycom partners with Redington to distribute RealPresence™ Video Collaboration Solutions to Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka, May 2012: Polycom, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLCM), the global leader in open standards-based unified communications, today announced its partnership with Redington (India) Ltd, a leading integrated supply chain solution provider,to deliver Polycom’s leading unified communications and video collaboration solutions to the Sri Lankan market.
Under this partnership, Redington will act as a distributor for Polycom’s RealPresence™video collaboration solutions in Sri Lanka, extending Polycom’s reach and delivering on its strategy to offer a comprehensive suite of business solutions across a number of sectors from enterprise to healthcare, education, government and manufacturing. Redington also acts a distributor for Polycom in India.
According to estimates by industry analyst firm Frost & Sullivan, the Sri Lankan video conferencing market is currently witnessing a growth of 25.5 percent Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR), and is expected to reach $4.5 million by 2017 .
This initiative is in line with Polycom’s vision of making video collaboration ubiquitous.
