Unique Cricket Tournament moves the SAP Ecosystem from boardrooms into stadiums

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka: The inaugural SAP Invitational F15 Cricket Cup 2012, an tournament organized by SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) as a means to bring together the SAP ecosystem of customers and partners for friendly competition on the cricket fields was off to a dazzling start with opening batsman Sahan Wijeratne of Dialog Axiata PLC hitting the first ball of the series for a four, in a match against Courtaulds Clothing Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. The tournament which commenced on July 28 will see a total of 14 teams vie for the top title over five weekends across cricket venues in Colombo.

The event demonstrates SAP’s spirit of engagement with its ecosystem of customers and partners, as well as employees, and its desire to cultivate relationships beyond boardrooms.

Dialog Axiata recorded a 104 run win over Courtaulds with 13 balls to spare at close of play.
