Four suspects with 65 fake Rs. 1000 notes and a printing machine were arrested by police in a raid in Kebellawala according to information received by the Chilaw Police Intelligence Unit. The chief suspect, a 31-year-old father of two, has confessed to printing nearly Rs. 500,000 in counterfeit currency and circulating them at gambling dens and liquor shops. (Pic by Jude Samantha)
