The new ‘Ranaviru’ monument at Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) Headquarters at Boyagane, dedicated to the eternal memory of all fallen VIR war heroes, was unveiled by Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Secretary Defence and Urban Development during a ceremony on Saturday (03). Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya and Major General R. V Samaratunga, Colonel of the Regiment, were also present. (Pic by Osanda Daham Nimsara)
