Enabled elections team meets the President...

Team Enabled Elections met President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat on August 4 to handover a number of crucial documents including the manifesto prepared by a team of experts addressing the issues and concerns of the persons with disabilities.

Enabled Election is a concerted effort in bringing about change in terms of political involvement with regard to the persons with disabilities in Sri Lanka that’s spearheaded by a coalition consisting of numerous community organizations specialized in electoral process-related activities and advocacy pertaining to the sociopolitical empowerment of the persons with disabilities.
