A protest was organised by the “Joint Opposition” in Pettah on Friday (24) against the extending of Central Bank governor Arjuna Mahendran’s term which comes to an end on June 30. UPFA MP Rohitha Abeygunawardena was injured during the protest and admitted to the hospital. (Pic By – Shan Fernando)
