this is the common attitude of JVP led student union, they really wanted some body to hit them & have casualties or deaths to sell. when i was an university student, i have seen many incident where this happened. they wanted unnessecery quarrels with Police officers or many times to throw them stones,as these union guys welcome tear gas or battern hits from police, Media shows only that part to public. It very clear this particular incedent also happened due to an internal fight between some university students, name of the culprit was also published. why can´t"Bassa" come forwards & file a case if he is not guilty, why does he want to hide. Now this union wants to sell the death body of an innocent student from a poor family who was killed by ther member, save save the murderer. finally there is one humble request from JVP, please keep away from universities of srilanka at least from now & withdraw yuor Mafia gangs in universities. let them learn & let our motherland to have well bahaved good educated people. you have already involved two major dissasters in the country, at least realize now.

It is obvious that this unfortunate death of the student was due to the brutality of police. Because of the activities of the corrupted politicians, there is no discipline in the police force. Media centres, journalists and in general the whole democracy of the country was attacked many times in front of the police officers. Police could not take action because of the influence of politicians. When the UN office was attacked by a crowd sponsered by a govt minister, the police had to withdraw. The blame should go equally to these corrupted politicians.

Why allow these free loading parasites, a huge burden on the tax payers already, to also inconvenience the same general public who are paying for their free education this way?? If they need to protest let them go to some empty grounds someplace and do all the protesting they want without blocking the roads creating huge traffic jams during the rush hour when people are struggling desperately to go home to their kids after spending almost the entire day at work. Just like they have the right to protest others too have a right not to be inconvenienced due to some selfish action by a horde of parasitic scum. Authorities, please remove this scum off the streets, remove the robes and drag them ´pretender monks´ first, because very obviously the only reason they are wearing a robe is to use Lord Buddha´s dhamma for their selfish gain and to live off others for free, till they leave the university. After leaving the university, as is the case often, they will give up those robes anyway and will start looking for jobs or will do something else. These rogues in robes are an insult to Lord Buddha and his preachings because Lord Buddha deplored acts such as this. Instead of making ourselves look stupid in front of the international community by forcing them not to insult what we Buddhists believe as sacred, we should first show them that we actually mean what we are saying by removing the robes off these rogue monks and putting them in jail for becoming an inconvenience to the general public. These rogue monks definitely are not practicing "avihinsa" as the lord Buddha preached them to do all the time and every time!!!
