SJB’s mega protest…

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya today (March 15) staged a mega protest in front of the Presidential Secretariat, calling on the government to resign. It however wanted the President to call a presidential election, so the people can elect a government of their choice, which is capable of alleviating the suffering of the people. The protest, which kicked off near the Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo and proceeded towards the Presidential Secretariat, also did a number on Colombo’s traffic congestion.
