Govt schools to function as normal tomorrow

The Ministry of Education has announced that all government schools will function as per usual tomorrow (28).

The teacher-principal trade unions engaged in an island-wide trade union action by reporting sick for the second consecutive day today (27) based on several demands.

However, the General Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers’ Union (CTU) Joseph Stalin, stated they decided to resume normal duties from tomorrow (28).
