Railway strike from midnight today; night mail trains cancelled

The Sri Lanka Railways Station Masters’ Union has decided to launch a strike from midnight today (09).
As a result, several trains including the night mail trains to and from Colombo Fort and Badulla, to and from Trincomalee, to and from Batticaloa and night mail train to Rambukkana will be cancelled, the Department of Railways said.
