Proposal for Ranil to contest Presidential Election approved at ‘Ekwa Jayagamu’ Gampaha rally

During the ‘Ekwa Jayagamu’ rally held in Gampaha today (21), Minister Prasanna Ranatunga proposed that President Ranil Wickremesinghe must contest the next Presidential Election.
The proposal was then unanimously approved by all those in attendance with a show of hands, Ada Derana reporter said.
