October 12, 2010   02:00 pm

The Colombo High Court has ordered prison officials to provide Sarath Fonseka, currently imprisoned at the Walikada prison, with facilities to watch television. The order was issued today when the ‘White Flag’ case was called for hearing today.

The lawyer representing the former Army Chief had previously stated at court that even though other inmates at the prison are allowed to watch television no such privilege was given to Sarath Fonseka.
