Northern Province Governor resigns

The Governor of the Northern Province P. S. M. Charles has resigned from her position.

Meanwhile, several other provincial governors had also issued letters of resignation yesterday (23).

The Governors had taken this decision following Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s swearing in as the President of Sri Lanka yesterday.
