SJB to finalize remaining National List MP nominees today

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is set to finalize its nominees for the remaining National List Member of Parliament (MP) positions today (22), according to a senior party spokesperson.
The SJB, having secured five national list MP seats, has already appointed its General Secretary, Ranjith Madduma Bandara, as an MP through the National List.
The party is expected to forward the names of the nominees for the remaining four seats to the Election Commission later today.
Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) yesterday announced M.S. Naleem, the former Chairman of the Eravur Urban Council, as its National List MP.
