Showers expected in parts of the country

A few showers may occur in Northern and Eastern provinces, says the Department of Meteorology. 

Mainly fair weather will prevail in the other areas of the island.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, Uva and North-central provinces during the morning, it said.
