Colombo hostel incident: German woman dies in hospital as death toll climbs to 2

A German woman, one of the three foreigners hospitalized due to a sudden illness while staying at a hostel on R. A. de Mel Mawatha in Kollupitiya, has passed away in hospital.
Earlier, a British woman from the same hostel had died after being admitted to the hospital along with a German couple from the same room.
