Former President Ranil’s special statement on ‘Batalanda’ Commission report

Issuing a special statement today (16), former President Ranil Wickremesinghe categorically rejected the ‘Batalanda’ Commission report.

He pointed out that the commission report mentions the heinous terrorist acts committed by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) during the 1988-90 period.
