Fonseka discharged from hospital, taken back to cell

DNA Leader and Former Army Chief Sarath Fonseka was discharged from the prison hospital and taken back to his cell at the Welikada Prison, prison hospital sources told Ada Derana. Commissioner of Prisons Maj. Gen. V.R. Silva also confirmed that Fonseka was brought back to his cell a short while ago.

 

 

Hospital sources stated that the wheeze condition that developed in Fonseka had improved and that he was healthy.
