Sri Lanka’s deflation drops marginally in February 2025

The overall rate of inflation as measured by the National Consumer Price Index (NCPI) on Y-o-Y basis increased to -3.9 % in February 2025, compared to -4.0% in January 2024, according to the latest data released by the Department of Census and Statistics.

Food Inflation also increased to -1.1% in February 2025, compared to -2.5% in January 2024.
