Iran will respond strongly if Israel launches fresh attacks amidst the ceasefire between the two nations, according to Iranian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Dr. Alireza Delkhosh.

Speaking during a media briefing today, Ambassador Dr. Delkhosh said Iran agreed to the ceasefire which was brokered by the United States, but it will continue to defend its territory and its interests.

Iranian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Dr. Alireza Delkhosh also noted that although attacks were carried out against his country, Iran’s nuclear technological intelligence cannot be stolen by anyone.

Meanwhile, certain reports indicate that U.S. President Donald Trump has made a controversial statement suggesting that clashes could erupt again despite the ‘Iran–Israel’ ceasefire.
