University entrance cut-off marks released

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released the cut-off marks required for university admission based on the results of the 2024 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.

Accordingly, the minimum Z-scores required for admission to various academic programs at different universities, based on each district, have been announced.

Students can obtain the university and course to which they have been selected by visiting the official website of the University Grants Commission via http://www.ugc.ac.lk or by contacting the UGC via 0112695301, 0112695302, 0112692357 or 0112675854 telephone numbers.

Furthermore, all applicants for university admission will be informed via SMS, the UGC said.

An SMS will be sent to notify whether or not they have been selected for university admission.
