Man arrested with 2.7kg of heroin in Walasmulla

An individual has been arrested with 2 kilograms and 755 grams of heroin in Walasmulla, police stated.
Police stated that the suspect was apprehended near Morakanda within the Walasmulla police area by a team of officers from the Mannar Division Criminal Investigation Unit.
The arrested suspect is a 33-year-old resident of Walasmulla.
Further investigations are being conducted by the Walasmulla Police.
