Bodies of two persons recovered in Mawanella bund collapse

The bodies of two individuals have been found after a mound of earth collapsed onto workers at a construction site in Manikkawa, Mawanella.

According to police at least three workers at the site when the incident occurred. 

An operation was launched earlier today to extricate the individuals safely.
