Democratic People’s Front Parliamentarian Prabha Ganeshan says that the leader of his party, Mano Ganeshan never learns a lesson from past experiences.

He recalled that when the Democratic People’s Front had contested the previous general election under the United National Front (UNF) together with the United National Party (UNP) its leader Ranil Wickramasingha had promised Mano Ganeshan a Parliamentary seat from the national List.

However the promise was not kept and no seat was awarded, Prabha Ganeshan stated.

The MP says that he was surprised and at the same time saddened to see media reports that Mano Ganeshan is in talks with the UNP for a joint system for the upcoming Local Government election after the UNP had deceived their party leader and their party.

Decision on Prabha on the 14th

When Ada Derana questioned Mano Ganeshan as to what decision the party has currently taken in regard to Prabha Ganeshan, who was elected to Parliament under the UNF ticket and later crossed over to the government, he (Mano Ganeshan) disclosed that the desicion will be made on January 14 the party’s Political Committee gathers.
