Police obtain 90-day detention order on ‘Ishara Sewwandi’

The Ministry of Defence has granted permission for the police to detain and interrogate ‘Ishara Sewwandi’ for 90 days.

The fugitive female suspect, wanted in connection with the murder of underworld figure ‘Ganemulla Sanjeewa,’ was recently arrested in Nepal and bought back to Sri Lanka.

The Ministry of Defence has granted the approval following a request made by Sri Lanka Police.
