Woman injured in shooting in Meetiyagoda

A woman has sustained injuries in a shooting near a restaurant at the Kiralagahawela junction in Meetiyagoda.
The shooting occurred at around 8:30 p.m., police noted.
The cashier of the restaurant was seriously injured in the incident.
Police stated that the shooting was carried out by two individuals who arrived on a motorcycle.
