Train derails at Ohiya, up-country services disrupted

A train operating from Kandy to Badulla has derailed near the Ohiya Railway Station at around 4:00 a.m. this morning (18), according to Sri Lanka Railways.

According to reports, three wheels of a train carriage had come off the tracks, resulting in a disruption to train operations along the up-country railway line.
