Helicopter engaged in disaster relief operations crash lands in Wennappuwa

A Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the Sri Lanka Air Force, which was involved in disaster relief operations, has met with an accident, police stated.

The helicopter, deployed for relief activities in the Wennappuwa–Lunuwila area, has crashed into Gin River.
