Final rites of 31 individuals died following landslide in Udaththawa performed

A total of 31 individuals belonging to 13 families died in a landslide reported in a village in Udaththawa, Kandy.
Due to the heavy rainfall experienced on November 27, a massive soil mound collapsed from the mountain top—approximately 5 kilometers away—buried the entire village.
Meanwhile, the final rites of 31 individuals who died in the landslide have been performed.
