Parliament to convene on Dec.18 following PM’s request – Speaker

The Parliament of Sri Lanka will convene on 18 December 2025, at 9.30 a.m., Speaker of Parliament Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne announced today (12).

The announcement was made through an Extraordinary Gazette, issued in accordance with Standing Order 16 of the Standing Orders of Parliament, following a request from the Prime Minister to summon the House.
