List of witnesses submitted for White Flag case

The list of witnesses who will come forward to testify on behalf of DNA Leader Sarath Fonseka in the case against him regarding the white flag statement was handed over to the Colombo High Court today (March 9).

 

Defence lawyer Nalin Ladduwahetty presented this list to the Court while the witnesses include Sarath Fonseka as well as Parliamentarians Karu Jayasuriya, Mangala Samaraweera and Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

 

Furthermore Professor Ashley Halpe, the Supreme Court Registrar, the High Court Registrar and the Press Council Secretary are included in the list of ten witnesses.

 

The Court will take a decision whether to accept the list of witnesses on March 30.
