AUDIO: Case against UNP Organizer temporarily suspended

Mount Lavinia Court has issued an order temporarily suspending court hearings on the petition filed by Maithri Gunaratne challenging the appointment of parliamentarian Ravi Karunanayake as UNP National Organizer.


UNP Southern Provincial Councilor Maithri Gunaratne speaking to Ada Derana stated that the court had provided a time period till August 04 in order to present information in this regard.


Several individuals including Opposition Leader Ranil Wickramasinghe had been named as respondents in the petition submitted to the District Court of Nugegoda by Mr. Gunaratne.
