CPC Dep. Finance Manager sent on compulsory leave

The Deputy Finance Manager of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) was sent on compulsory leave since yesterday (September 15) in view of a disciplinary inquiry against him, a spokesman for the CPC stated.

 

Following the importing of substandard petrol that caused damages to several vehicles, the Petroleum Minister had directed the CPC Chairman to take disciplinary action against those involved.
