Main suspect in Lasantha’s murder dies

Main suspect in former Sunday Leader editor Lasantha Wickramathunga’s murder case died today (October 15) evening at the Colombo General Hospital. The suspect, who had been in remand custody had reportedly suffered from epilepsy.


P. Jesudasan, had fallen ill after he was produced in Mt. Lavinia Court on October 13 and was subsequently hospitalized, Commissioner General of Prisons P.W. Kodippili stated.
