Police ordered to prevent protests outside the High Court

Ahead of the verdict for the White Flag case which is to be given tomorrow (November 18) the Colombo Magistrate Court ordered Police to disperse any unlawful protests or gatherings near the Colombo High Court during the course of the day.

 

The decision was taken following a report submitted to the court by the Keselwatta Police.

 

The Police stated that there was a threat of disturbances around the area in anticipation of the court decision which is to be given tomorrow.
