Will continue fight until Fonseka is released: Ranil

The bankruptcy of the ‘Mahinda Chinthana’ is revealed through the second sentencing of the former army chief Sarath Fonseka and the taking over of profitable enterprises owned by Sinhalese businessmen, the Opposition Leader said today.
Ranil Wickramasinghe said he found out, when he visited London for the International Association of Democratic Leaders Conference, that the people there are grief stricken over what is taking place in Sri Lanka.
The International Association of Democratic Leaders vowed to assists in every action the United National Party is to take against the undemocratic path of present Sri Lanka, for the benefit of the people,he said addressing a public meeting held today at the Dematagoda Junction.
The UNP leader further stated that they would demonstrate against the government in the same form the government is “unjustly” charging Sarath Fonseka.
“This fight will be taken forward nationally and internationally until Fonseka is released.” he stressed.
