UNP leadership candidate Karu Jayasuriya said today that he did not enter politics to gain wealth or power and that his only intention is to protect the loyalists of the party as well as to establish a UNP government in the country.
He added that anyone who closely monitors the present oath of the country will see how tragic it is.
Attending the launching ceremony of his official website at the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo today (06) the UNP Co-deputy Leader further stated that justice and fairness has to be re-established in the country and that he is prepared to take leadership for that purpose.
