SLFP officials to be informed about Mervyn

Steps have been taken to inform the SLFP General Secretary and the other party officials about the various allegations of corruption against Public Relations Minister Mervyn Silva, Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Prasanna Ranaweera stated.

 

The PS members stated this at a press conference held yesterday (January 9) at the SLFP headquarters.

 

The PS Chairman stated that the party leaders will be made aware of the allegations leveled against Mervyn Silva as well as the members of the Pradeshiya Sabha in Kelaniya adding that the party leaders had promised to give the people of Kelaniya a fair solution.

 

Minister Silva stated that upon his request the party will conduct investigations into the PS members who have made these allegations against him.
