HC to hold daily hearings in case against Fonseka

The Colombo High Court today decided to hold day-to-day proceedings in the case filed against Sarath Fonseka for allegedly harboring 10 army deserters and for conspiring against the State, starting from February 21.
The Attorney General had filed charge sheet comprising of 41 indictments against the former army commander and his Secretary Senaka de Silva, which was read before the defendants at the open court to which they pleaded not guilty.
High Court Judge Sunil Rajapaksa then decided to take up the case from February 21 and ordered the witnesses to appear in court on the said date
