TNA meet US ambassador for war crimes

Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MPs today (Feb. 07) afternoon met with Stephen Rapp, Ambassador at Large, Office of Global Criminal Justice at the US State Depart, while on his visit to Sri Lanka.
The Leader of the TNA, R. Sampanthan along with MP M.A. Sumanthiran discussed a number of matters relating to accountability in Sri Lanka with Mr. Rapp, the TNA said in a release.
As head the Office of Global Criminal Justice (GCJ), formerly the Office of War Crimes Issues (WCI) Mr Rapp advises the Secretary of State and Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy and Human Rights and formulates U.S. policy on prevention and accountability for mass atrocities.
