Unless the concession promised by the government is afforded immediately we too will join the strike, All Island Private Bus Operators Federation’s Secretary Anjana Priyanjith said today. From midnight yesterday the Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association commenced a strike after diesel prices were increased on February 12.

Though the All Island Private Bus Operators Federation did not join the strike today Priyanjith stated that if the promised concession is not given they too would be forced to join the strike.
