SC takes up petition on A/L exam Z-score

The Supreme Court today granted permission to take up a petition filed claiming that there were discrepancies in the Advanced Level 2011 Z-Score, the Ada Derana court reporter confirms. The Supreme Court decided to take up the petition on May 10.

 

Sixteen G.C.E (Advanced Level) Students along with Ceylon Teachers’ Union filed the fundamental rights violation petition citing Commissioner General of Examinations W. M.N.J. Pushpakumara, Education Minister Bandula Gunawardene, Peradeniya University Prof. R.O. Thattiland the Attorney General as Respondents.
