UPFA protest begins outside Fort station

The main protest organized by the UPFA government against the UNHRC resolution against Sri Lanka began a short while ago near the Fort Railway station.


Acting Minister of Mass Media and Information Mr. Lakshman Yapa Abeywardene said on Saturday that arrangements have been made to demonstrate public support through organizations of Alliance political parties and other public organizations throughout the country on an electoral basis.

These rallies will be held in a town in each electorate and the main rally will be held centering Colombo.
