Colombo National Museum robbed

The Colombo National Museum was broken into last night while some historic items including a sword and coins were stolen, Police stated.
According to police items of historical value such as a sword, several gold coins and rings, on display in the second floor of the museum were stolen by the thieves.
Cinnamon Gardens Police are conducting investigations into the robbery.
