Mervyn asked to explain himself

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has requested SLFP General Secretary, Minister Maithripala Sirisena to call upon Minister Mervyn Silva to give an explanation regarding a statement he made to the media, party sources told Ada Derana.

The Minister stated earlier this week that as long as Mahinda Rajapaksa is President and D.A. Rajapaksa’s family is in power that no one could touch him.

The President has requested the party Secretary to seek an immediate explanation from Minister Silva regarding this statement.
