Security for SF difficult while treatment continues at Nawaloka

Assistant Commissioner of Prisons, Ashoka Hapuarachchi, told the Colombo High Court today (May 4) that it was difficult to provide security for former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka while he is receiving treatment the Nawaloka Hospital but would be able to do so if he was moved to the Colombo National Hospital.
The Assistant Commissioner pointed out that it was difficult to provide security at a private hospital.
The Colombo High Court earlier ordered prison authorities to provide security to Sarath Fonseka after permitting him to receive treatment at the Nawaloka Hospital for an illness related to his lungs.
