Renovated 18-bend Kandy-Mahiyangana Road to be declared open Sunday

The newly expanded and redeveloped 18-bend (Daha Ata Wanguwa) Kandy-Mahiyangana Road will be vested in the people by President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Sunday (May 06), the Government Information Department reported.

Renovated at a cost of 5,000 million rupees, the famous 41 kilometer road with two lanes had taken three years to renovate.
