The Colombo High Court today decided to postpone the case against Sarath Fonseka and his former secretary, Senaka De Silva who are charged with harbouring army deserters during the last Presidential Election.
When the case was taken up today (14), presenting a report to court Prison officials stated that the defendant Sarath Fonseka is receiving treatment at the Nawaloka Hospital and therefore is unable to appear before court.
Taking this into consideration High Court Judge Sunil Rajapaksa postponed the hearings on the case to June 07, and ordered defence attorneys to inform court on Fonseka’s health condition on that date.
