
Fonseka pledges his life to supporters

Former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka who was released from Prison a short while ago told his supporters that he will dedicate his life to them and will return to them soon.
Fonseka is currently parading along Baseline Road in an open top vehicle.
Addressing his supporters from the vehicle, Fonseka stated that he will not forget or betray those who supported him while adding that a great injustice was done to him and hoped that the people would reestablish justice.
He added that he wanted to further the peace that was won by the soldiers of Sri Lanka and would fight corruption while helping the country out of the economic turmoil it was in.
