Asian Junior Athletic C’ship will go ahead - Sports Minister

Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage says the Asian Athletics Association (AAA) has permitted to go ahead with the Asian Junior Athletic Championship in Colombo as scheduled, after the appeal.

Asian Athletics Association yesterday (21) had cancelled the championship due to a petition filed by former Sri Lanka Athletic Association (SLAA) officials, however Minister Aluthgamage had appealed.
